Job Description
The institute has released this recruitment notification to fill Assistant Professor positions in the Department of Neurosurgery on a contractual basis.
NIMHANS Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery position must possess one of the following qualifications:

M.Ch Neurosurgery

Specialty Board of Neurosurgery (USA)

An equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for the Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery position is 50 years. Concessions will be reserved for eligible candidates according to the applicable recruitment rules mentioned in the official notification.
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
Candidates should not have been convicted by any court of law.
Salary
Under NIMHANS Recruitment 2026, selected candidates will receive remuneration according to Level 12 of the pay matrix.
