Job Description:
The Assistant Manager – First Aid Training will be responsible for fulfilling all the responsibilities of Instructor First Aid as stated by the DGCA (CAR Section 7 – Training and Licensing Series ‘M’ Part I) and other relevant CARs for the eligible population. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting first aid training programs for initial and recurrent eligible populations as per regulatory requirements.
- Attending relevant training courses and maintaining all required certifications and qualifications pertaining to first aid.
- Ensuring compliance with DGCA stated regulatory requirements and company guidelines regarding first aid training modules and record keeping.
- Managing administrative processes of first aid training courses as per DGCA requirements.
- Maintaining and updating relevant first aid training records related to effectiveness and efficiency.
- Staying updated on industry developments and action plans.
- Multi-skilling into an instructor for ground force for relevant first aid modules.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by designated authorities.
Eligibility Criteria for the Non-Clinical Job:
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from a recognised institution with valid registration.
Required Skills for the Non-Clinical Job:
- Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively delivering first aid and medical training.
- Relevant experience in first aid training, preferably within aviation, healthcare, or emergency response.
- Exposure to corporate or institutional training environments with an understanding of adult learning principles.
- Ability to operate within regulatory and compliance-driven frameworks.
