Job Description:
As part of Parexel Consulting, the Health Economics Associate will play a vital role in assisting biopharmaceutical and medical device companies. This position involves developing and implementing regulatory strategies that enable clients to bring their products to market faster. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse clients across various therapeutic areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a support biostatistician or statistical programmer to interact with the study team and the sponsor.
- Supporting in drafting statistical sections of protocols and performing sample size and power calculations for studies.
- Reviewing data management plans, data specifications, and other related study documents.
- Developing statistical analysis plans and contributing to the preparation of specifications for analysis datasets.
- Supporting in developing statistical programs to generate listings, tables, and figures as outlined by a statistical analysis plan.
- Performing quality control of TLFs and other analysis datasets.
- Providing statistical input to Clinical Study Reports.
- Ensuring quality standards are adhered to on all projects and assessing new methodologies and techniques.
Eligibility Criteria for the Non-Clinical Jobs:
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare consulting or pharmaceutical organizations.
- Strong basis in fundamental statistical concepts and methods.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and Bayesian statistics is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in non-technical terms with project team members.
- Master’s or higher degrees in Public Health, Health Economics, Health Policy, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields.
Required Skills for the Non-Clinical Jobs:
- Excellent scientific, business writing, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, especially in relaying technical information and project concepts.
