Summary
The Medical Expert in TCO (Translational Clinical Oncology) is a key medical leader overseeing the oncology division’s global, roll-over, and long-term follow-up studies. They work closely with the Clinical Program Leader to ensure the successful implementation and execution of clinical trials.
About the Role
Major Accountabilities:
- Provides medical support to the clinical program leader (CPL) leading the program.
- Acts as the medical monitor for overall program safety reporting.
- Represents CPL at project team meetings and Investigator teleconferences.
- Leads the ongoing clinical trial data medical/scientific review.
- Manages stakeholder engagements and mentors junior team members.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Management of assigned studies, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Demonstrates excellent scientific writing skills for trial reporting and regulatory documents.
- Contribution towards departmental objectives and feedback from stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
MD or equivalent medical degree required. Experience in hematology/oncology preferred.
Work Experience:
At least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Experience with oncology clinical trials.
Skills:
Clinical Monitoring, Clinical Trials, Drug Development, Regulatory Compliance, etc.
Languages:
English proficiency required.
