Qualifications

  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
  • Hands-on expertise in nuclear medicine techniques and imaging procedures.
  • Experience working with radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic imaging principles.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow precise clinical instructions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment (advantageous).

Role:

This full-time, on-site role requires a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join Sterling Hospitals in the Greater Gwalior Area. The technologist will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform nuclear imaging studies, ensure strict radiation safety compliance, and assist medical teams with diagnostic interpretation. The role involves hands-on clinical work, patient management, equipment upkeep, and seamless coordination with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies with accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Ensure radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self.
  • Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment for optimal performance.
  • Record and update comprehensive patient histories and procedure details.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to support diagnostic outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
