Job Description:
The Junior Consultant Job at Oasis Fertility involves supporting the clinical and operational aspects of fertility treatment and assisted reproductive technologies.
The selected doctor will participate in patient consultations, fertility assessments, treatment planning under supervision, cycle monitoring, and procedures related to IVF, IUI, ICSI, and ovulation induction. The role also involves patient counseling, coordination with embryologists and other clinical teams, maintaining medical records, and supporting research and quality-improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient consultations and review medical histories.
- Assist with basic fertility assessments and clinical evaluation.
- Support treatment planning under appropriate supervision.
- Assist in fertility treatments including IVF, IUI, ICSI, and ovulation induction.
- Monitor fertility-treatment cycles using ultrasound scans and hormone assessments.
- Support procedures such as oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and IUI under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
- Follow established clinical protocols throughout treatment.
Patient Care
- Counsel patients regarding fertility treatment options and protocols.
- Guide patients through different stages of their treatment journey.
- Address patient queries and concerns appropriately.
- Maintain compassionate, ethical, and patient-centric communication.
- Help patients understand relevant treatment procedures and clinical instructions.
Operational Responsibilities
- Coordinate with embryologists, nursing staff, and laboratory teams.
- Support smooth clinical and operational workflows.
- Ensure adherence to relevant clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in quality-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary fertility-care teams.
