Job Description:

The selected candidate will provide scientific expertise, build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), support medical affairs initiatives, and contribute to oncology-focused strategies. This Oncology Medical Advisor Job combines scientific leadership, stakeholder engagement, medical education, and cross-functional collaboration to advance clinical practice and strengthen Pfizer’s position within the oncology community.
Key Responsibilities of an Oncology Medical Advisor:
- Build strong scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Support the advancement of oncology medical practice and research.
- Provide medical expertise to healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Implement medical activities aligned with brand strategies.
- Conduct scientific presentations, advisory boards, and customer meetings.
- Facilitate round table discussions and CME programs.
- Provide medical inputs for pre-launch and launch activities.
- Gather insights on treatment patterns, unmet needs, and research opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, clinical research, and medical information teams.
- Support sales force training through scientific education.
- Stay updated on emerging oncology research and clinical developments.
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Medicine.
- MD in Pharmacology or Community Medicine preferred.
- MBBS with additional qualifications in:
- Pharmaceutical Medicine
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- MBA
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical research and commercialization processes.
- Understanding of medical affairs and oncology therapeutic areas.
- Medical writing and scientific presentation skills.
