Job Description:
This opening is suitable for qualified doctors seeking specialized Ophthalmologist Jobs within an eye-care organisation. The Ophthalmologist will be responsible for examining patients, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatment and performing ophthalmic interventions according to clinical requirements.
The position also involves working with optometrists and other clinical professionals while maintaining patient records, following clinical protocols and providing patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and manage ocular diseases.
- Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions as appropriate.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient care, prescribing treatments and corrective lenses.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic and laser equipment for procedures.
- Collaborate with optometrists and clinical staff to ensure patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical protocols.
- Participate in patient education and counselling.

Eligibility Criteria for this Ophthalmologist Job:
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Ophthalmology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions.
- Clinical expertise in Optometry-related practices, including refraction and managing common visual disorders.
- Proficiency in Surgery, including cataract and other ophthalmic procedures.
- Experience with Laser technologies and techniques used in ophthalmic procedures.
- Recognised medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (MS/DOMS/DNB) with valid medical registration.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
