Optometrist Jobs At Specsmakers- Role:
The Optometrist at Specsmakers will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, identifying and diagnosing visual disorders, and recommending personalized eyewear and corrective solutions. The role also involves collaborating closely with the retail team to ensure a seamless customer journey, from clinical testing to product selection, while maintaining Specsmakers’ commitment to quality and care.
Ophthalmology Jobs- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate and thorough eye and vision tests for all customers
- Diagnose vision-related issues and recommend suitable corrective measures
- Provide expert advice on eyewear and lens customization based on prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and maintain detailed patient records
- Support store operations and collaborate with the sales and retail teams for smooth service delivery

Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or certification in Optometry from a recognized institution
- Strong clinical knowledge in refraction, eye health assessment, and lens prescription
- Proven ability to recommend and fit eyewear based on patient needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and colleagues
- Attention to detail, clinical precision, and empathy in patient handling
- Prior experience in retail or clinical optometry is an added advantage
