The Subject Matter Expert will play a crucial role in auditing coded medical records using ICD-10 and CPT codes. This position requires adherence to HIPAA regulations, recognizing and interpreting inconsistencies in medical data, and educating coders through feedback. The objective is to meet quality and productivity standards while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities of Optum Medical Coding Jobs:

- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology.
- Understanding of interpreting medications and dosages.
- Proven proficiency in English communication.

- Experience in conducting calibration sessions between SMEs, auditors, and trainers.
