Pediatric Job – Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine and emergency medical cover during duty hours.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
- Attend to patients promptly when required or requested.
- Actively participate in classroom and bedside teaching for postgraduate students and RMOs.
- Identify and report complex health problems to the concerned doctor.
- Supervise PG students while maintaining consultant-led patient care.
- Oversee daily patient management with PG students and nursing team leaders.
- Prescribe pain management medications when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Write treatment orders clearly in capital letters with proper dating and signatures.
- Assist consultants in rounds and take independent rounds as required.
- Prepare accurate and complete discharge summaries.
- Follow departmental on-call and duty rota.
