Job Overview:
Wockhardt Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registrar to provide comprehensive pediatric care in collaboration with senior consultants. The role involves managing inpatient care, attending emergencies, monitoring patient progress, supporting neonatal and pediatric critical care services, and ensuring quality clinical documentation while delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking detailed patient histories and performing clinical examinations.
- Initiate treatment plans after consultant discussion.
- Conduct daily patient rounds and monitor clinical progress.
- Review investigation reports and patient vital signs.
- Attend to newly admitted pediatric patients promptly.
- Recommend diagnostic tests and treatment strategies.
- Review and modify treatment sheets prepared by RMOs.
- Participate in consultant rounds and communicate treatment updates.
- Ensure pre-operative and post-operative instructions are properly implemented.
- Handle pediatric emergencies and coordinate timely consultant communication.
- Perform emergency procedures and facilitate ICU transfers when required.
- Attend casualty and emergency pediatric cases.
- Utilise the hospital information system for documentation and patient management.
