Job Description:
This physician job requires an MD/DO professional who uses current evidence-based knowledge and clinical skills to conduct professional physical assessments, examinations, and treatment plans for patients. The practitioner evaluates physiological, psychological, socioeconomic, and cultural aspects of patient care while managing acute and chronic illnesses or injuries. The physician monitors and evaluates treatment plans and makes revisions as needed or initiates consultations and referrals when appropriate. This MD job / DO job involves providing patient care across a wide age spectrum, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Qualifications:
Education: Medical Degree
Certification / Licensure:
- Board Certified
- BLS Certified
Experience: Relevant clinical experience in patient care and medical practice is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional physical assessments and medical examinations for patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Develop and manage patient treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Revise treatment plans when necessary and coordinate consultations or referrals.
- Provide patient care for pediatric through geriatric populations.
- Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards within the healthcare setting.
- Supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and students when required.
- Prescribe medications and instruct patients on correct usage.
- Observe, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and treatment outcomes.
- Work collaboratively in both independent and team-based clinical environments.
- Develop and present educational programs or workshops related to medical expertise.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
- Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of expertise.
- Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids.
- Ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct medication usage.
- Knowledge of current medical principles, procedures, and treatment methods.
- Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements.
- Ability to observe, assess, and document patient symptoms and treatment outcomes.
