About the Project:
- Project Title: DBT ICMR Childhood TB Project
- This is a multicentric study conducted at St. John’s Hospital, Bangalore, Assam Medical College, Wadia Hospital, and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
The aim of the study is: - To develop hospital-based database systems for childhood TB (age group < 18 years) in selected tertiary care centers in India
- To estimate the proportion and identify risk factors associated with fibrocavitary TB amongst children in these centers
- To estimate the proportion of DR-TB in children and study the association of DR-TB and fibrocavitary TB in children
- To develop efficient AI algorithms for radiological diagnosis of childhood TB
- This is an ICMR-funded 5-year project, offering long-term exposure to structured research work through the project associate job.
Job Description:
The selected candidate for this project associate job will support the DBT ICMR Childhood TB Project through data-related activities and technical assistance required for smooth project execution.
