Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist with a minimum of 5 years of experience after completing their MD. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services, including diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders. You will be expected to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care, maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field, and provide compassionate and effective therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess and diagnose mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and therapy.
- Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychotropic medications.
- Provide psychotherapy (individual, group, or family therapy) where appropriate.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in regular professional development and training.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services as needed.
- Conduct mental health assessments for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Offer support and guidance to families of patients, educating them on mental health and treatment options.
Requirements:
- Education: MD in Psychiatry from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-MD experience in psychiatry.
- Licensing/Certifications: Valid medical license to practice psychiatry.
