- Job Title: Resource Person – Health
- Locations: Jevargi Block (Kalaburagi); Manvi Block (Raichur); Jamkhandi Block (Bagalkot)
- Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
Job Description:
The focus of the role will be to:
- Provide programmatic support towards more effective delivery of health services.
- Connect and coordinate with all public health stakeholders in the block, at the Public Health Centres (PHCs), and at Sub-centres in this Public Health Job in Karnataka.
- Engage with the staff and frontline workers to strengthen the delivery of services at VHSNDs, including ASHAs, ANMs, CHOs, MOs, community, SHGs, and PRIs.
- Conduct needs assessment, planning, and training activities for health personnel.
- Develop health education, encourage health-seeking behaviours, and promote community ownership of health over time.
Eligibility Criteria for the Public Health Job:
- Masters/Post Graduate degree in a related field with relevant professional work experience.
- 3-5 years of on-ground experience working with the public health system and communities in rural areas.
- RMNCH (Reproductive, Maternal Newborn Child Health) related experience will be an advantage.
- Effective communication abilities with PHCs and Sub-centres staff, frontline workers, and block teams.
- Capacity building experience/skills, and fluency in Kannada and English.
