Job Description:
The National Health Systems Resource Centre is inviting applications for the position of Lead Consultant under its Community Processes/Comprehensive Primary Health Care Division. This Public Healthcare Job involves leading policy development, supporting national and state health programmes, mentoring technical teams, and strengthening healthcare delivery systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in formulating and revising CP-CPHC policies.
- Provide policy and program support as needed at national and state levels.
- Draft program-specific guidelines, policy briefs, and training materials.
- Gather and analyze evidence from field reviews to inform policy.
- Oversee the implementation of innovation and learning centers in CP-CPHC.
- Represent the Division in engagements with senior policymakers.
- Guide State Technical Counterparts in policy matters.
- Prepare annual work plans and budgets in coordination with team members.
Eligibility Criteria for this Public Healthcare Job:
- Medical Graduate (MBBS/BDS) with MD/PhD/MPH/MBA (Health Management/Health Administration).
- Over 10 years of experience in Public Health/Community Health and Health Systems post-graduation.
- Experience in global health, strategic communications, and innovations.
- Field-level experience in capacity building and mentoring.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or Hindi.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams.
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Grassroots experience is desirable.
