The Post For Radiology Job :
This post is for a Consultant radiologist. This is a fully funded new post for the development of the Radiologist Department. The new Consultant will participate actively based on the two hospital sites in Kalyan as discussed during the interview. The Consultant will participate in the routine work of the department – CT, Ultrasound, and Plain Film Reporting. The Consultant will work for 8.30 hrs all together in both hospitals and will be on call after 8.30 hrs if any emergency arises, for which extra payment will be provided. The Consultant will promote and develop multidisciplinary teamwork within the specialty and will effectively communicate with all agencies and personnel involved in providing Radiology services. The Consultant will work together with his/her Radiology colleagues in the further development of Radiology services in the area. The Consultant will continue to develop protocols for the establishment and monitoring of standards of care and reviewing the effectiveness of practice in the light of available evidence and recommended guidelines. The post-holder, as a member of the Radiology consultant team, will assist with the development and implementation of systems under clinical and social care governance that ensure the quality of the radiology service offered by the Hospital. The Radiology consultant team participates in audit activities and applies the results to improve the service, and needs to maintain records that are required for Audit purposes. The post-holder will participate in teaching, appraisal, and development of radiographic and nursing staff. Provide advice to the hospital on all aspects of the Radiology service.
