Required Qualifications & Skills
- MBBS + MD/DMRD in Radiology (from an MCI-recognized institution).
- Strong proficiency in Obs & Gynae ultrasound, including early pregnancy, anomaly, growth, Doppler, and follicular scans.
- Experience in general radiology (USG, X-ray) preferred.
- Additional expertise in fetal medicine is an added advantage.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work with high patient volumes.
- Strong diagnostic accuracy and attention to detail.
About the Role
The radiologist will play a key role in delivering high-quality ultrasound and imaging services for obstetric and gynecological cases. The role demands precision, empathy, strong reporting abilities, and close coordination with obstetricians, gynecologists, and other clinical experts to support accurate diagnosis and patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret Obs & Gynae ultrasound scans, such as
- Early pregnancy scans
- Anomaly scans
- Growth scans
- Doppler studies
- Follicular/infertility-related scans
- Carry out routine radiology imaging (USG, X-ray) as needed.
- Generate clear, accurate, and timely radiology reports.
- Collaborate with clinicians for case evaluation and treatment planning.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and ensure patient safety.
- Communicate findings professionally with patients and referring physicians.
