Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound (where applicable).
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Operate, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and healthcare staff.
  • Review imaging results before forwarding them to radiologists.
  • Assist radiologists during specialized imaging procedures in this Radiology Technician Job in Mumbai.
  • Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies when required.
  • Maintain patient records, reports, and imaging data in PACS/RIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, and hospital quality standards at Asian Heart Institute.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
  • Handle routine and emergency imaging requests efficiently.
  • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to ensure timely patient care.

Educational Requirements for the Radiology Technician Job:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology & Imaging Technology.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology or an equivalent qualification.
  • Valid certification or license as required by the regulatory authority (AERB or equivalent).
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in diagnostic imaging.

Skills Required:

  • X-ray imaging expertise.

  • Ultrasound knowledge (preferred).
