Domnic Lewis is currently seeking a Regional Medical Advisor for a head office-based position in Mumbai. The position is for our client, a Global Pharma MNC.

Role Description:The Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) is responsible for establishing and enhancing the presence of the Medical and Patient Affairs Department within the designated region. This role involves building relationships with key external stakeholders, especially Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs), and executing specific medical projects while ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Scientific Leadership and Relationship Building:
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the latest scientific and medical knowledge.
Build strong relationships with TAEs through scientific exchanges.
Map key TAEs within the region.
Medical Insights and Strategic Planning:
Capture clinical insights to inform Medical Action Plans.
Collaborate with internal teams on strategy integration.
Internal Collaboration and Training:
Provide scientific expertise to internal teams.
Support scientific training for commercial teams.
Medical Information and Support:
Respond to medical inquiries from healthcare practitioners.
Clinical Research and Development Support:
Support company-sponsored studies.
Contribute to clinical research programs.
Patient Awareness and Advocacy:
Support patient awareness initiatives.
Preferred QualificationsCandidates with a background in Diabetes, Cardiology, or Cardio-Metabolic therapy will be prioritized.
Experience RequirementsEssential: 1-2 years of experience in medical affairs or related roles.
Desirable: Previous experience as an MSL, RMA, or Medical Executive.
