Job Description:
The Manager, Medical Communications and Content Solutions, Category Team within the Global Medical Communications and Content Solutions (MCCS) team is responsible for creating and executing global medical content end-to-end within a specific therapeutic area. This includes developing a variety of external-facing medical content such as abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters, presentations, and multimedia resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop all relevant medical affairs content, including abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters, presentations, and other types of medical content.
- Research, organize, compile, interpret, and quality check various types of technical and/or medical information for projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop medical content across assigned therapeutic areas.
- Provide solutions to authors for assigned projects and collaborate with other teams to drive these solutions in the Medical Communications Jobs.
- Ensure accuracy and data quality control of all medical content.
- Deliver all projects within expected timelines while adhering to quality and compliance requirements at Pfizer Careers.
- Support the development of training materials for product/therapeutic area priorities.
- Track the progress of all assigned projects and resolve any issues with guidance from the Team Lead.
Eligibility Criteria for the Remote Medical Communications Job:
- Advanced scientific doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing/developing medical content for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to lead and execute a project end-to-end.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with authors and stakeholders.
- Excellent scientific writing skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize complex data.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with software commonly used to present and analyze data (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Communications Job:
- Experience in creating and developing medical content.
- Expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.
- ISMPP-CMPP™ certification.
- Multimedia and omnichannel experience.
