Job Description:
This Remote Physician Job is for the position of Senior Physician, Patient Safety under the Medical Sciences category. The role is based remotely in India and focuses on pharmacovigilance, ICSR medical review, medical monitoring, adverse event assessment, and compliance with global drug safety regulations. The selected candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, support audits and inspections, mentor junior physicians, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining high-quality patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a good working knowledge of adverse event and safety profiles of assigned products.
- Review labeling documents, client procedures, and global drug safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory timelines for adverse event reporting.
- Communicate review-related issues with Project Leaders, Line Managers, and stakeholders.
- Attend and present during client and cross-functional meetings.
- Function as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Support audits, inspections, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Functional Leads to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Function as a pharmacovigilance representative and safety scientist.
- Support bid defense meetings.
- Mentor Patient Safety Physicians to develop expertise.
Educational Requirements for this Remote Physician Job:
- MBBS from a recognized medical school.
- MD qualification is desirable.
- Completion of basic clinical training, internship, or residency.
- Minimum two years of experience in ICSR medical review.
- Good understanding of medical terminology.
