Job Description:
This position oversees one of the major technology platforms (pathology, digital pathology, and IHC) and is involved in clinical biomarker assay development, validation, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in a team of pathologists, provide Clinical Pathology support to programs/projects at BBRC in close collaboration with the BMS pathology team.
- Responsible for the development of IHC/ISH assay development, qualification/validation, and sample analysis.
- Work closely with scientists/pathologists onsite to support translational pathology and immunohistochemistry workflows in this Research Job in Bangalore.
- Support ongoing translational R&D projects in collaboration with the hospital network.
- Undergo self-training and support the digital pathology workflow under the supervision of senior pathologists at Syngene Careers.
- Actively participate in SOP preparation and maintenance, also support and periodically review inventory management.
Eligibility Criteria:
MBBS, MD/DNB Pathology with relevant experience in histopathology/IHC, working in research settings, academia, and corporate (Hospitals/Pharma).
Required Skills for the Research Job:
- Hands-on experience in pathology/IHC in a hospital or corporate (pharma/technology) setting.
- Basic knowledge of IHC is required.
- Knowledge of digital pathology is desired.
- Experience in oncology and/or other therapeutic areas along with handling clinical samples and clinical programs is essential.
- Experience working in a regulated laboratory setting (CAP/NABL or other GxP environment) is good to have.
Behavioral Skills for the Research Job:
- Ensure completion of experiments and generate accurate and reproducible data from experiments.
