New Admissions:
- Attend every new patient admission within the prescribed time frame.
- Conduct a detailed patient history and physical examination.
- Review previous medical records when available.
- Document all findings in the history sheet.
- Inform consultants regarding admissions and follow medical orders.
- Guide nursing staff regarding patient management plans.
- Review transfer summaries for patients shifted from ICU.
- Escalate significant findings to the respective consultants.
Shift Duties:
- Conduct rounds during every shift and examine all assigned patients.
- Record clinical observations in patient records.
- Update treatment sheets and investigation reports.

- Execute pre-operative treatment plans.
- Verify surgical and anesthesia consent documentation.
- Ensure pre-anesthetic checkups are completed.

- Coordinate with consultants regarding significant developments.
General Responsibilities:
- Participate in medical camps as per organizational requirements.

Educational Requirements:
