The Position:

The Regional Medical Expert is a trusted, externally focused partner within Roche’s customer engagement model. By building and maintaining deep connections with key customers, the expert will impact medical practice and ensure Roche is a preferred partner in neurology. This role is designed to maximize medical and scientific activities to accelerate the delivery of Roche’s pipeline and differentiate its portfolio based on data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Expertise: Proactively contribute strong scientific, medical, and therapeutic area expertise within neurology.
  • Shape Strategy: Lead the medical part of the integrated strategy and reflect an end-to-end business perspective.
  • Proactive Customer Engagement: Execute an HCP and account engagement plan aligned with the medical strategy.
  • Medical Partnership & Education: Build peer-to-peer scientific relationships with HCPs and provide high-quality Medical Education.
  • Insight Generation: Identify, capture, analyze, and translate external scientific insights from the field.
  • Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with Roche SOPs, local regulations, and Good Clinical Practice.
  • Evidence Strategy Implementation: Collaborate to identify local evidence gaps and facilitate real-world evidence opportunities.
  • Clinical Development Support: Support the identification and assessment of potential trial sites.

Eligibility Criteria for the Neurology Medical Affairs Jobs:

  • Education: Advanced degree (MBBS, MD, PharmD, PhD) with a strong scientific foundation.
  • Experience: 2–4 years’ experience in Medical Affairs or clinical practice, with prior field-based experience preferred.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical research and the Indian healthcare environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential.
