Medical Science Liaison Jobs- Role:

Sanofi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) โ€“ Rare Blood Disorder to join its SE Asia & India MCO Medical team within the Pharma division. Based in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, or Bangalore, the MSL will report to the Medical Manager โ€“ Rare Blood Disorder.ย This role offers a unique opportunity to combine scientific expertise with strategic communication by engaging with healthcare professionals, disseminating scientific knowledge, and driving impactful medical discussions in the therapeutic area of rare blood diseases, particularly hemophilia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute scientific field activities related to Rare Blood Disorders, focusing on hemophilia.
  • Disseminate up-to-date medical knowledge and discuss clinical evidence and treatment guidelines with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Conduct and support scientific meetings, lectures, and speaker trainings within the therapeutic area.
  • Develop and maintain strong, ethical relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align field insights with the companyโ€™s strategic medical objectives.
  • Provide scientific support in the diagnostic and patient management journey for hemophilia.
  • Collect and report medical insights from the field to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain full compliance with Sanofiโ€™s ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring non-promotional medical interactions.
  • Contribute to evidence-generation activities, data collection, and investigator-led initiatives.
  • Support diagnostic coordination, including addressing documentation and supply chain requirements prior to therapy initiation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree in a medical or scientific discipline (MBBS/MD preferred).
  • 2โ€“4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry as a Scientific Advisor or MSL.
  • Strong background in Hematology and Hemophilia (experience with coagulopathies and bleeding disorders desirable).
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining KOL relationships within Hematology.
  • Excellent knowledge of scientific methodologies, data analysis, and medical communication strategies.
