Job Description:
This Senior Intensivist Job is a full-time, on-site position within the Critical Care department at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad. The selected candidate will lead ICU operations and manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment while ensuring evidence-based treatment and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ICU operations and critically ill patients using evidence-based practices.
- Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilatory management.
- Conduct bedside bronchoscopy and ultrasound-guided procedures (POCUS).
- Independently perform arterial lines, central lines, and dialysis catheter insertions.
- Perform and manage percutaneous tracheostomies.
- Operate advanced life-support systems including CRRT, ECMO, and IABP.
- Drive clinical governance initiatives and ICU protocols.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and patient safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, nursing teams, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Mentor junior doctors, residents, and ICU staff.
- Communicate prognosis and treatment plans with patients’ families.
Educational Requirements for the Senior Intensivist Job:
- MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
- MD or DNB in General Medicine or Anaesthesia.
- Super-specialisation in Critical Care through:
- IDCCM, or
- DrNB Critical Care Medicine.
Experience Requirements for the Senior Intensivist Job:
- Minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in Critical Care.
- Experience in tertiary care hospitals or high-volume ICU settings is preferred.
- Proven expertise in managing complex and critically ill patients.
- Experience with advanced life-support systems is highly desirable.
Skills Required:
