Job Description:
The Senior Resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, will provide medical care to inpatient and outpatient patients under the guidance of Consultants in the department. This role reports administratively to the DMS and functionally to the H.O.D & Sr. Consultant – (O & G). The position involves ensuring proper attention to patients and their attendants, being proactive in patient care, providing expert consultation, managing all patients related to Obs & Gynae, staying updated with the latest research and techniques in the field, conducting and supervising all tests/procedures, generating reports on tests/procedures performed, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment/facilities, and supervising all nursing, paramedical, and non-medical staff to maintain discipline and high standards of medical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure proper attention to the patient & their attendants.
- To be proactive in terms of patient care (Planning and anticipation).
- To provide expert consultation and manage all patients related to Obs & Gynae.
- To keep abreast with latest research, development & techniques in the field of O & G.
- To conduct and supervise all tests/procedures related to Obs & Gynae.
- To generate reports on tests/procedures performed (Operation notes and discharge summary).
- To ensure that the wards/O.T. rooms have equipment/facilities necessary for rendering patient care.
- To supervise all nursing/para medical and non-medical staff of the department to maintain discipline and high standards of medical care.
Eligibility Criteria for this Senior Resident Job:
- Required Qualification: MS/MD/DNB Obs & Gynae or DGO Obs & Gynaecology, preferably with 2–3 years of experience.
