Intern Job Description:
This intern job in the Pharmacovigilance department is designed for individuals with prior exposure to the Argus safety database. The role provides practical experience in drug safety operations, case management, and regulatory reporting, helping interns build a solid foundation for long-term careers in pharmacovigilance and medicine-related roles.
Intern Job – Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned mailboxes, including inbox triage of client communication, inbound reports, and internal case processing communications.
- Perform duplicate searches and complete initial book-in as required.
- Enter basic data into the safety database, such as the identifiable patient, report, suspect drug, and adverse event.
- Assist in case processing activities within the Argus database, including follow-ups.
- Support narrative writing and MedDRA coding activities.
- Assist with Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) management in line with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely adverse event reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation while adhering to pharmacovigilance compliance standards.
