Job Position: Medical and Scientific Reviewer
Job Description:
At Eversana, we provide end-to-end integrated global medical information and medical affairs services for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, digital therapeutics, and over-the-counter companies. The role requires medical and scientific expertise, a strong understanding of regulations, and best practices for promotional and non-promotional materials. The Medical and Scientific Reviewer will analyze, interpret, and translate scientific literature across therapeutic areas, including oncology, hematology, rare diseases, immunology, cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, women’s health, and more.
Qualifications & Eligibility:
- MBBS, BDS, or MDS with relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in scientific writing or document QC in life sciences or pharmaceuticals
- Experience with literature databases such as PubMed, Ovid, Embase, and RightFind
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical trials, and drug development
- Experience reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials
- Experience across multiple therapeutic areas
- Familiarity with Veeva Vault MedComms / PromoMats
- Understanding of US pharmaceutical regulations
- Excellent communication, editing, and project management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scientific data fact-checking and review of promotional and non-promotional materials for MLR review meetings
- Ensure scientific accuracy, relevance, completeness, and contextual correctness of data
- Ensure claims are clinically and statistically relevant and scientifically balanced
- Verify that claims are supported by appropriate references and aligned with approved labels
- Review materials for medical accuracy and proofread content against references
- Collaborate with internal and client medical signatory reviewers
- Resolve review findings in collaboration with MLR team members
- Identify and resolve timeline-related issues
- Recommend content and process improvements
- Work with document management platforms such as Veeva PromoMats and MedComms
- Support the creation of Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Medical Communications content
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to medical strategy discussions
- Support SOPs, templates, style guides, and guidance documents
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes of practice
- Deliver high-quality, ethical, and compliant content independently
