Key Responsibilities:
Opinion Leaders & External Engagement (Medical-to-Medical Communication)
- Develops and executes Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement plans and maintains regular, compliant medical-to-medical interactions with the external medical community.
- Demonstrates medical leadership, role-models collaboration and teamwork, and contributes positively to the Medical Affairs department.
- Establishes and maintains partnerships with medical societies and scientific organizations.
- Provide internal and external medical expertise related to assigned products and therapeutic areas at Pfizer Careers.
- Organizes and prepares medical education events for the scientific community in alignment with company strategy and compliance requirements.
- Responds to unsolicited medical information requests in a compliant manner.
- Participates in local, regional, and national scientific meetings, advisory boards, speaker trainings, and other scientific interactions involving opinion leaders.
- Support scientific projects in accordance with the ISR (Investigator-Sponsored Research) Policy in this Remote Medical Affairs Job in Europe.
- Collects medical insights and identifies unmet medical needs from HCP interactions.
- Shares relevant regulatory updates with HCPs, where appropriate and compliant.
- Supports medical publications and scientific dissemination activities.
Field Force Training
- Identifies medical training needs and enhances the scientific knowledge of sales representatives using up-to-date, approved data.
- Delivers regular medical training in the relevant therapeutic areas in alignment with compliance standards.
Support of Product & Medical Strategies
- Supports the definition of Therapeutic Area and Category strategies.
- Develops and executes the in-country medical strategy and provides medical leadership for assigned products to support clinical and product development plans.
- Reviews and approves promotional materials and labeling for medical accuracy and compliance; provides medical input on competitive materials and publications.
- Provides medical input into marketing strategies, operating plans, POA development, and external activities (e.g., advisory boards), including selection of relevant data and publications.
- Supports market access activities by providing medical and scientific expertise.
- Contribute to the selection and briefing of speakers for Pfizer scientific events and meetings in this Medical Affairs Job.
- Develops and/or supports scientific projects addressing unmet medical needs based on internal and external insights.
- Anticipates trends in the therapeutic area, healthcare environment, and customer needs; collaborates cross-functionally to identify opportunities and develop appropriate medical strategies.
- Supports local and/or regional advisory boards.
- Supports cooperation with patient associations in a compliant manner.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the scientific literature in the relevant therapeutic area and identifies knowledge gaps related to company products and competitors.

Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Medical Doctor (MD) preferred
Relevant Experience:
- Experience in Medical Affairs roles such as Medical Manager, Medical Advisor, or Medical Science Liaison.
- Experience in stakeholder management and external engagement.
- Experience in medico-marketing collaboration and project management.
- Experience in analyzing medical data and generating scientific insights.
- Awareness of market dynamics, business ethics, corporate culture, and compliance requirements.
Skills Required:

- Strong scientific expertise, including medical data analysis and insight generation.

- Fluency in English and the local language is required.
