Adani Power is seeking an experienced medical professional for an Occupational Health Job at its plant operations. The role involves overseeing employee wellness programs, conducting medical surveillance, managing plant healthcare facilities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Occupational Health Management
- Develop and implement Occupational Health Care Plans tailored to employee needs.
- Conduct medical surveillance to monitor health and occupational hazards.
- Manage and operate plant medical facilities and emergency services.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers for advanced medical care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical records.
- Prepare reports on medical activities and compliance status.
Wellness and Preventive Care
- Create wellness awareness plans for employees and families.
- Conduct health education sessions on nutrition, hygiene, and stress management.
- Provide primary medical care and first aid for workplace injuries.
- Conduct health assessments and medical examinations.
- Support health camps, blood donation drives, and government initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and safety teams to promote workplace wellness.
Budget and Inventory Management
- Obtain budget approvals for the Occupational & Township Health Center.
- Monitor expenditures to ensure cost optimization.
- Oversee procurement and inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Compliance and Sustainability
- Ensure adherence to IMS, AWMS, DISHA, and CHETNA guidelines.
- Implement 5S practices at the Occupational Health Centre.
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, 1948 and relevant laws.
- Develop occupational health and safety policies with the safety team.
- Comply with incident management and safety interaction schedules.
Digitization and Automation
- Lead digitization strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Implement digital tools and innovative health monitoring initiatives.
Educational Requirements for the Occupational Health Job:AnÂ
- An MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- CIH/AFIH/DIH Certification is preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in occupational health management.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred.
- Experience in the power generation industry or similar heavy industries is advantageous.
