Job Description:
AstraZeneca is recruiting experienced professionals for a Medical Affairs Job focused on promotional and scientific review activities. In this role, you will collaborate with Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance teams to review promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with medical strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead scientific and medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials.
- Evaluate clinical evidence, promotional claims, and scientific accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and internal company policies.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
- Provide strategic guidance on scientific messaging and promotional claims.
- Develop scientific narratives, launch materials, and medical presentations.
- Manage promotional review activities using Vault PromoMats and related platforms.
- Support efficient approval processes without compromising compliance.
- Review omnichannel promotional materials and healthcare communications.
- Mentor team members and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Educational Requirements for this Medical Affairs Job:
Applicants for this Medical Affairs Job should possess one of the following qualifications:
- MD
- DDS/BDS
- Equivalent advanced healthcare degree
Experience Required
- 8–10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Extensive US promotional review experience
- Strong understanding of FDA promotional regulations
- Experience in MLR/PRC review processes
