Job Description:

The Safety & PV Specialist role at Syneos Health involves critical responsibilities in pharmacovigilance, ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. Candidates will engage in ICSR case processing and quality checks, contributing to the overall safety monitoring of drugs. This position requires candidates to work night shifts and be based in either Hyderabad or Gurugram, where they will be part of a dedicated team committed to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have 6+ years of experience in ICSR case processing and quality review.
  • Applicants should be willing to work in night shifts.
  • Enter information into PVG quality and tracking systems for receipt and tracking of ICSRs as required.
  • Assist in processing ICSRs according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Triages ICSRs and evaluates data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintains safety tracking for assigned activities.
  • Participates in audits as required.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria for the Pharmacovigilance Jobs:

  • Education: BDS / BMS / MBBS
  • Location: Must be willing to work in Gurugram-Hyderabad/Pune Office.
  • Experience:
    • Sr Safety & PV Specialist: Minimum 6 years of PV experience.
    • Safety & PV Specialist I: Minimum 2.6 years of PV experience.
    • Safety & PV Specialist II: Minimum 4 years of PV experience.
  • Immediate/Early joiners will be preferred.

Required Skills for the Pharmacovigilance Jobs:

  • ICSR case processing experience along with Quality Check (QC) experience is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to pharmacovigilance.
  • Proficiency in data entry and safety database management.
  • Knowledge of MedDRA coding and drug dictionary maintenance.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
