Job Description:
This Medical Advisor Job involves providing the scientific foundation for the Therapeutic Area medical strategy and contributing to Medical Affairs strategic planning. The selected candidate will conceptualize and manage medical activities, engage key thought leaders and support execution of Medical Affairs initiatives. The position also involves functioning as a therapeutic-area scientific expert and communicating the latest medical developments to internal sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a core scientific member of the cross-functional franchise team.
- Provide the scientific foundation for Therapeutic Area medical strategy.
- Conceptualize and manage medical activities aligned with the TA Medical strategy.
- Support research, publications, medical education and patient support programs.
- Engage key thought leaders through strategic Medical Affairs activities.
- Support execution of the strategic Medical Affairs plan through Regional Medical Affairs.
- Contribute to medical and product education initiatives.
- Function as a therapeutic-area scientific expert.
- Discuss relevant scientific data with leading specialists.
- Train sales and marketing teams on the latest medical and scientific developments.
Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Advisor Job:
- MBBS with MD in Pharmacology/Medicine,
- MBBS with a full-time postgraduate qualification in any discipline of medicine
- 2–4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry or research company in a Medical Advisor capacity.
- Candidates interested in this Medical Advisor Job should meet the following requirements: Training in medical writing, clinical trial methodologies, research design and ICH-GCP is considered an added advantage.
Required Skills for this Medical Advisor Job:
- Training in medical writing, clinical trial methodologies, research design, and ICH – GCP will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of Indian regulations on healthcare professionals’ interactions and clinical trials.
- Strong academic record with deep knowledge of the therapeutic area and research methodologies.
