Job Description:
This Senior Resident Job is in Critical Care and is intended for doctors with up to four years of relevant experience. The role involves interfacing with patients, nursing teams, technicians and service users while supporting pre-, intra- and post-operative care. The Senior Resident will also be expected to respond to emergency calls in the ICU and operating theatre and contribute to teaching, quality, resource management and hospital safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing, para-medical, and non-medical staff to maintain high standards.
- Participate actively in CME, journal clubs, and conferences.
- Coordinate matters relating to infrastructure provision and maintenance support, including selection of medical consumables and equipment procurement.
- Facilitate teaching and training programs for OT nurses, technicians, and ICU staff.
- Ensure optimum utilization of resources by oneself and subordinates.
- Adhere to grooming, punctuality, and company policies and practices.
- Maintain complete orientation of the QMS and EMS systems of the hospital.
- Comply with patient safety policies and ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal systems.
