Medical Safety Physician Job Description:
In this Medical Safety Physician Job, the Junior Medical Safety Physician will be responsible for conducting reviews and assessments of individual case safety reports obtained from clinical trials and spontaneous reports. This role requires a keen understanding of regulatory reportability and the ability to work collaboratively within therapeutic teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct review and assessment of individual case safety reports obtained from clinical trials, spontaneous and solicited reports.
- Determine regulatory reportability of cases within assigned therapeutic teams and across all products/sites.
- Perform triage of cases and determine seriousness and relatedness across products as assigned.
- Review and verify appropriate selection of adverse events from source documents, assign appropriate MedDRA code, assess labeling, and review narrative.
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of product portfolio and safety profiles across therapeutic areas.
- Escalate complex case issues to the medical review team as appropriate.
- Conduct assessment of litigation cases across products as assigned.
- Identify and resolve case issues, coordinating with client therapeutic teams for specific products.
Eligibility Criteria for Medical Safety Physician Job:

- Experience with relevant safety databases and related software applications.
- Proven experience in customer handling and relationship management.
