Job Description:
These Kokilaben Hospital jobs require the Clinical Assistant/Sr. Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate/Sr Clinical Associate to provide medical cover, both routine and emergency, during hours of duty. The role requires collaboration with other specialties to serve the institute effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional approach to be adapted with all patients, staff and visitors.
- To provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty.
- To perform procedures like Central line, IV Channelization, Intubation, etc.
- To operate instruments like Ventilator.
- Following all Clinical safety, hygiene, infection control protocols.
- To monitor patients as required or when requested.
- Identify complex health problems of patients and report to the concerned doctor.
- Supervise daily clinical management of all patients under the guidance of Consultants.
- Prescribe pain management medicines.
- Effective communication with patients, family, colleagues, and other healthcare workers.
- Ensure treatment sheets are complete with diagnosis, dated, named, and signed by the writing doctor.
- Assist Consultants for rounds and follow up on patients for further care.
- Accompany Consultants for rounds and take notes as required.
- Prepare discharge summaries.
- Assess new patients admitted.
- Follow the on-call and duty rota as per department requirements.
- Be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization.
