Job Summary:
Apex Goel Hospitals, Lucknow, is looking for an experienced and qualified Consultant Anaesthesiologist to join its clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective anaesthesia care, conducting pre-anaesthetic assessments, monitoring patients during surgical procedures, and ensuring appropriate post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluations and assess patients’ fitness for surgery.
- Administer general, regional, and local anaesthesia as clinically indicated.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and maintain patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage airway emergencies and provide resuscitation and emergency care when required.
- Provide post-operative pain management and monitor recovery from anaesthesia.
- Coordinate with surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and other clinical teams.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and anaesthesia records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MBBS from a recognised medical institution.
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or an equivalent recognised postgraduate qualification.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Medical Council/National Medical Register, as applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience in anaesthesia and perioperative care.
- Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
