Job Overview:
Provide comprehensive Medical Review expertise to deliver efficient, quality data management products that meet customer needs. In this medical review role, provide project management support for structured patient data review from a clinician’s perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify patient anomalies to ensure medical congruency/plausibility of subject data per protocol.
- Provide project management expertise with minimal guidance while working with clinical study teams, key decision-makers, and internal team members to manage continuous process improvements, issue escalation, workload projections, and provide technical expertise.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Track service performance and provide leadership in identifying root causes of issues and implementing remedial actions.
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of compliance issues.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve task efficiency and quality of deliverables.
- Provide therapeutic area/indication training for the project clinical team.
- Attend Kick-Off meetings, weekly team meetings, and client meetings, as needed or requested.
Skills Required for the Medical Data Reviewer Job:
- Understanding of clinical/medical data.
- Background in Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and Physiology.
- Excellent motivational, influencing, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
- Strong customer focus skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
Educational Qualification for the Medical Data Reviewer Job:
- An Other Medic with a 5-year college degree or MBBS is required for this medical data review position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical or Biological area with 3 years of work experience in Clinical practice or clinical research related field required.
