Post: Junior Resident
Vacancies: 34 Junior Resident posts (UR-14, OBC-09, SC-06, ST-02, EWS-03). Vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease depending on institutional requirement.
Location: Faridabad, Haryana
Engagement Type: Contractual basis
Tenure: Contractual engagement for an initial period of one year, extendable as per the notice, with a maximum tenure of three years or until joining of a Bonded Junior Resident, whichever is earlier.
Job Description
Engagement is purely temporary, governed by ESIC terms and ESIC Headquarters guidelines. Private practice of any kind is not permitted after joining. The engagement may be terminated with one month’s notice from either side.
Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS degree, with valid and updated NMC/State Medical Council registration.
- Age limit as prescribed under applicable ESIC/NMC rules, with age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
- No prior work experience is specified for the Junior Resident post (Freshers eligible).
Salary
Equivalent to Level 10 of the 7th CPC with other allowances as applicable.

Submit the filled-in application form in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) with self-attested copies of documents, through one of the following modes:

Receipt of applications commenced on 03 November 2026. The last date is 13 November 2026. Applications received after the last date, or incomplete or unsigned applications, are liable to be rejected.
Application Fee: Rs. 500 by Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1, payable at Faridabad. SC/ST, female, ex-servicemen and PH candidates are exempted.
Additional Information
Selection: Applications are scrutinised by a committee. Document verification and a written test will be notified separately on the official ESIC website. The written test syllabus is based on the MBBS curriculum, and the qualifying criterion is 50% marks. Selected candidates will be notified on the ESIC website.
