Robotic Surgery Facility: Healthcare is heading towards modern advancements to enhance patient care by providing proper facilities. Vizag MP M. Sribharat, with South MLA Vamsikrishna Srinivas, launched this robotic surgery facility at the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology in Vizag.
This facility mainly focuses on kidney diseases and treatment options. People who are suffering from kidney-related and urological system problems will have better treatment options with this launch.
During this initiative, MP Sribharat introduced the robotic technology in treating kidney diseases; medical professionals should use this opportunity to enhance patient care and for better patient outcomes in the future.
He also mentioned that the robotic surgery facility will improve the quality of treatment. This also provides services for the patients within a short time and more accurately. Also, emphasized the role of technology in improving the patient care standards.
Dr G Ravindra Varma, managing director and robotic surgeon at AINU, Vizag, explained how robotic surgeries and their assistance in the surgeries are useful and how they can be incorporated into the daily life of healthcare.
Doctors can perform surgeries with accuracy by reducing the side effects and other complications after the surgery and highlighting its role in prostate cancer surgeries, enabling to removal of the tumor with less pain and less blood loss and allowing patients to stay in hospitals for a shorter time with fast recovery options.
Dr Amit Saple, executive director and robotic surgeon, along with Sandeep Guduru, the CEo of AINU, said that with the increase in medical complications, more new technologies and advancements are needed, and this robot surgery facility will be the best solution to overcome all those complex complications.
