This MBBS Job focuses on delivering medical expertise during case handling and supporting pharmacovigilance activities. The role plays a key part in ensuring drug safety, regulatory compliance, and patient safety within Tata Consultancy Services’ healthcare projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical expertise and judgment during case-handling, including medical review of individual cases.
- Ensure compliance with global and local procedural documents and implement client and organizational policies.
- Perform medical coding of case data (AE and Drug terms) using MedDRA and WHO-DD.
- Assess medical plausibility, consistency, and completeness of SADR case reports.
- Request follow-up information and initiate product/event-related questionnaires when necessary.
