Qualifications & Experience
- DM/DrNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
- 0–3 years of experience as a cardiologist (including interventional cardiology exposure).
- Valid medical licensure as per national and state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular medicine, interventional techniques, and diagnostic modalities.
- Experience and familiarity with nuclear medicine and vascular systems is preferred.
- Excellent diagnostic judgment, treatment planning, and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care.
- Strong communication and ability to function effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Role:
The consultant cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide range of cardiovascular disorders. This includes clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology procedures, and expert decision-making for complex cardiac cases. The role requires working closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform interventional cardiology procedures and guide treatment strategies for complex cardiac diseases.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including ECG, stress tests, echocardiography, CT/MRI cardiac imaging, and nuclear cardiology studies (where applicable).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including intensivists, surgeons, radiologists, and nursing staff.
- Provide expert clinical opinions during rounds, case discussions, and emergency situations.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
- Stay updated with advancements in cardiology and incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards while delivering patient care.
