Job Description:
The Medical Reviewer at TCS will provide medical expertise and judgment throughout the case-handling process, ensuring accurate and high-quality individual case reviews. The position involves reviewing cases, supporting patient safety objectives, addressing medical queries, drafting Medical Monitor Comments and Company Remarks, determining medically significant events, and resolving MedDRA coding queries. The role also requires collaboration with Product Safety Physicians, pharmacovigilance teams, Medical Affairs teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical expertise and judgment throughout the case-handling process.
- Review individual cases using clinical and pharmacovigilance knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with global and local procedural documents.
- Support Patient Safety objectives throughout case handling.
- Maintain knowledge of the relevant product portfolio.
- Provide timely medical input for safety-related queries.
- Draft Medical Monitor Comments and Company Remarks.
- Determine medically significant events.
- Resolve queries related to MedDRA coding.
- Address medical queries during case handling.
- Maintain communication with the Product Safety Physician.
- Provide technical expertise to the pharmacovigilance team.
- Participate in Medical Affairs team meetings and client interactions.
- Provide regular work updates to the Team Lead.
Eligibility Criteria for this Corporate Medical Job:
- MBBS or MD qualification is mandatory.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in clinical or pharmacovigilance roles.
- At least 3 years of clinical and/or pharmacovigilance experience is preferred for case review responsibilities.
- Experience with ARISg, LSMV, and NavaX is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of MedDRA coding and pharmacovigilance processes is beneficial.
