Job Description
NIMHANS is conducting a Walk in Selection for filling up the post of “Clinical Post-Doctoral Fellow” on a contract basis for the project entitled: “TIDE (Trimetazidine in bipolar depression): A doubleblind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial”, funded by Stanley Medical Research Institute, USA, under Dr Muralidharan K, Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator, NIMHANS.
This doctor fellowship is ideal for candidates interested in psychiatry research, clinical trials, and advanced MD job or DNB job pathways.
Qualifications
Essential
M.D in Psychiatry / M.D Psychological Medicine / DNB Psychiatry or equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution
Desirable
Completed 3 years of Junior Residency as on the day of the walk-in
Duration
- Duration of Project: 1 year 6 months
- Duration of Post: Initial appointment will be made for six months, which will be extendable every six months till the end of the project depending upon the performance of the candidate
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the research project “TIDE (Trimetazidine in bipolar depression)”
- Assist in clinical and research activities under the Principal Investigator
- Support trial-related documentation and patient assessments
- Contribute to study design, data collection, and analysis
- Engage in psychiatric evaluation and clinical decision-making
