Job Description
The doctoral program in Microbiology and Immunology at the Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University, Japan, invites applications for admission in April 2027. The program is coordinated in collaboration with THSTI careers and is designed to train students in advanced life sciences research.
Applicants will first be screened for eligibility at THSTI, followed by a joint interview conducted by Osaka University and THSTI selection committees. Final selection will be confirmed by the Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be non-Japanese nationals residing outside Japan and meet the following:
Educational Requirements
- Completion of 18 years of schooling outside Japan by March 31, 2027 OR
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree requiring 5+ years of study OR
- Minimum age of 24 years with equivalent academic qualifications recognized by the Graduate School of Medicine
English Proficiency
- TOEFL iBT score of 80 or higher OR IELTS score of 6.5 or higher
