Job Description:

This dental job opportunity involves serving as a Dental Corps Officer specializing in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The role focuses on delivering advanced surgical care in both operational and non-operational settings while supporting mission readiness. This position is ideal for professionals exploring DDS jobs and DMD jobs who want clinical excellence without private practice administrative burdens.

Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD from a CODA accredited program
  • Completed a CODA accredited Oral Surgery residency in the U.S. (or in the final year of residency)
  • Board certified in Oral Surgery (or in the final year of residency)
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Between the ages of 21 and 63 (Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced surgical interventions for oral-facial injuries, conditions, and diseases in both operational and non-operational settings
  • Lead multidisciplinary surgical teams
  • Provide mentorship to junior dental professionals
  • Contribute to medical readiness and research initiatives supporting Sailors and Marines

Incentives & Compensation:

  • $700,000 Accession Bonus
  • $66,000 Annual Specialty Pay
  • $8,000 Annual Board Certification Pay
