Job Description:
Provide comprehensive emergency care for service members and their families, addressing a wide range of medical needs in both operational and non-operational settings. You will assess and stabilize patients in critical situations, perform life-saving procedures, and collaborate with other medical specialists for follow-up care. This physician job provides exposure to diverse clinical scenarios while contributing to national service.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited program or passed the ECFMG
- Completed an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency or Fellowship (or in the final year of residency)
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine (or in the final year of residency)
- U.S. Citizenship
- Between the ages of 21 and 63 (Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care for service members and their families
- Lead multidisciplinary care teams
- Provide mentorship to junior medical professionals
- Contribute to medical readiness and research initiatives supporting Sailors and Marines
